I've been a huge fan of this band since hearing 'Campfires', an album which I've played to death! This one is a little different in a way, and it took me sooooo long to get in to, but once it clicked, holy shit did it click. Sea Fire is an absolute banger that evokes sounds of Filosofem era Burzum and Mystifier to my ears...not a bad mix at all. I love 'Ghostly Shores' so much I bought the CD and the Cassette and now I eagerly await whatever comes next from OCR.

Too tired to think about genre-wankery "post-thrashy-blackened" whatever. This is just some great black metal that, most importantly, feels fresh in some of the transitions, compositions, and note/chord choices and progressions. Makes me want to invisible orange and crabwalk. Hail infernal templars.
